I find that many have gone the route of "newer must be better" and drank Skype's purple koolaide when Skype bugged them to upgrade to the miserable Skype 5.0 for Mac. Currently, I use it on my hackintoshed Dell Mini 10v, because Skype 2.8 would crash, but I went back to 2.8 on my Macbook Pro because I find the new user interface miserable. It also seems to be less stable in general.

What are your findings? Do you like it more? Do you use the group video chat feature? From what I can tell, that's the only selling point, despite not being free like oovoo.

Sticking with 2.8 for the time being, and I heartily recommend Mac users out there do the same. Wanna get 2.8 for Mac? Here it is.
